Activities at A Better View include both group and individual participation, based on each residents ability and preference.

Outdoor activities offered

• Gardening- both flower and vegetable gardens.  This includes watering, planting, picking or just admiring the gardens as able.

• Animal care, watching and or feeding (outdoor animals include- cats, dog, squirrels, deer, fish pond, raccoons& various birds including hummingbirds.

• Walks around the grounds and in the neighborhood.

• Meals out on the covered patio as weather allows.

• Barbeques, assisting with meal prep as able and desires.

• Plenty of room for family visits, gatherings.

• Assisting with mail, trash or other outside activities as able and desires.

Inside activities offered

• Assisting with meal planning, preparation and clean up as able and interested.

• Inside animals include- parakeets, and Jack the cat. Residents may care for and or play with animals in the home as desired.

• Family pets may visit with prior approval and vet checks.

• Movies of choice,  sports shows as requested, super bowl parties etc.

• Music per residents choice at meals.  TV off during meal times.

• Reading or being read too-  we subscribe to the Spokesman Review and about 10 magazines.

• Writing or assisted to write letters.

• Crafts such as seasonal decorations, coloring, games.

• Hair care, beautician available on site when requested for additional fee.

• Nail care, makeup, skin care, sensory stimulation.
